As chief operating officer for StreetLights Residential, Roger oversees asset management, acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management. He has extensive global experience in multi-family, retail, office, hotel assets, and both single asset and portfolio investments.
In his previous role, Roger oversaw global real estate asset management for Mount Kellett Capital Management LP, a New York-based investment firm focused on global distressed, special situations and opportunistic investing. In this position, Roger oversaw the management of a portfolio of $6.5 billion and worked closely with operating partners in acquiring, formulating and execution of asset strategy in order to maximize value and investment returns.
Prior to joining Mount Kellett, Roger spent nearly 20 years with Goldman Sachs/Archon Group where he held a number of positions, including co-head of US Real Estate and chief operating officer for Archon Residential, where he oversaw acquisitions, asset management, property management and dispositions. He also spent four years in Tokyo, Japan where he led the startup of Goldman Sachs Realty Japan, building and leading a platform focused on the acquisition, asset management and disposition of both real estate and secured non-performing debt investments.
Roger holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from Baylor University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He currently serves on the boards of Apartment Life and Lion Heart Children’s Academy.
